Umberto Milletti
Umberto is founder and CEO of InsideView. Previously, he was an executive and co-founder of DigitalThink, a leading provider of Web-based corporate training services. Beginning in 1996, Umberto held a number of key roles at DigitalThink, serving as GM, Products; VP, Technology; and VP, Marketing & Product Management. Umberto helped lead DigitalThink to a successful IPO, growing annual revenues to $60 million, and ultimately to its sale to Convergys in 2004 for $120 million in cash.

Previously, Umberto led product development at Knowledge Revolution, a developer of educational and engineering software acquired by MSC Software. He also held various management positions at Integrated Systems Inc. (acquired by Wind River Systems), helping grow the company to an IPO in 1990.

Umberto holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California-Berkeley.

Dr. Marie Mookini
Marie Mookini has devoted her career to higher education. From 1983-1991, she served in the Undergraduate Admission Office at Stanford University, rendering final decisions on one-fourth of the freshman and transfer applications. Since 1991, she has served in several capacities at the Stanford Graduate School of Business: Director of MBA Admissions, Major Gifts Officer, Senior Associate Director for Advising and Corporate outreach, and Associate Director of the MBA Program. She also served as the President of Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), a director of the Graduate Management Admission Council, and as a faculty member of the Admission Middle Management Institute sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).

Marie graduated from Stanford University with an AB in Psychology, and from UCLA with an MA and PhD in Education.

Dr. Jon Reider
Jon is the Director of College Counseling at San Francisco University High School, an independent 9-12 high school. Previously, he was a Senior Associate Director of Admission at Stanford and a lecturer in Humanities there, where he taught in a freshman 'Great Books' curriculum for many years. He also taught sociology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was a Danforth Graduate Fellow and a Marshall Scholar at the University of Sussex in England. Jon is a leading figure in the current movement to reform the chaotic college admissions process and to reduce the 'frenzy' too often associated with college admissions these days.

Jon graduated from Stanford with a BA in History and a Ph.D. in Social Theory. He also has an MA from the University of Sussex in Sociology.

James Sparkman
James is currently the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Heald College, an 11 campus post-secondary system serving students in California, Oregon and Hawaii.

Previously, he co-founded HigherMarkets Inc., an on-demand software company serving the college and university market. While co-CEO of HigherMarkets, James spearheaded fundraising efforts that resulted in over $15 million in angel and venture capital funding before the company was acquired by SciQuest Inc. in 2002. Prior to founding HigherMarkets, James held executive positions with the First Marblehead Corporation (NYSE: FMD), the leading provider of private education loan services in the United States. James also served as Vice President of New Mountain Capital LLC, a private equity firm, and Managing Director of First Education Group LLC, a boutique investment bank focusing on the education sector. He began his career as a public school teacher in Brooklyn, NY with Teach For America.

James received his BA, cum laude, from Middlebury College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
